With over 100 speakers, 15 plenary sessions (including panel discussions and debates) as well as around 70 workshops across a wide range of topics, this easily promises to be one of our best conferences to date.

In addition to this there will be a special session on ICPA Healthcare Working Groups and a IACFP (International Association for Correctional and Forensic Psychology) lecture on Risk Assessment and the Maturation of Long-term Inmates by Distinguished Professor Hans Toch from State University New York at Albany.
Conference registration also includes a personal invitation to attend exclusive events including ICPA's opening reception on the 25th, the host country (Barbados Prison Service) welcome reception on the 26th and our special event dinner and awards ceremony on the 27th where successful nominees from the 2009 ICPA Awards Programme will be presented with an award to recognise their exceptional efforts within the field of corrections.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to take part in a visit to the new HMP Dodds correctional facility as well as a cultural tour of Barbados to wind down and conclude what will be an extremely busy programme.
A companion programme will also run alongside the main event for those travelling with delegates to the island.
