14th AGM and Conference - Registration Open

Julio Cèsar Cepeda	01:07, 7 Mar 12 This topic is commenting on this announcement Very Good Afternoon Friends of ICPA, since the 14th Conference will take place in Mexico and taking into account that in the Year 2011, namely the conformation of ICPA-LA (Latin American Chapter), my proposal is that all information in the 14th Conference also published on the website of ICPA in Spanish, so we could involve a greater number of professionals Corrections and Prisons in the Region. Republishing the website would be too major an undertaking at this time, but we do have a conference information booklet that is published in both English and Spanish...a small, but important step in that direction. Julio Cèsar Cepeda	03:10, 7 May 12 Hello Cassandra and Fraser, dear friends, since already grateful for your response, that are working so that we can enter the Latin American Web ICPA and ICPALA, and have documentation in Spanish, my humble suggestion was to place the information on the Annual Conference to be held in Mexico, plus all the additional information, as participation of experts Exhibitors, Attendees, activities of the Member and the Companion, you can find it in English and Spanish. Only that and I see us in Mexico
Julio Cèsar Cepeda	03:16, 7 May 12 I wanted to tell ICPA, which takes part of the Conference 2012-Mexico, as Vice President of ICPALA, as from 1 May 2012, I left the post of deputy director of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Argentina, so I'm looking for a Consulting on the topic Women in Prison, to implement specific treatment programs and the application of the Rules of Bangkok. Fraser Bryans	19:36, 16 Sep 12 Some answers to Frequently Asked Questions regarding the ICPA 14th AGM and Conference in Mexico City: 1) What includes the payment of $875 US? The payment of $875 USD includes the full conference participation of all the workshops and plenary sessions, coffee breaks and lunch Monday -Thursday, the Sunday evening reception, the Monday evening reception, and the Wednesday evening awards dinner. It also includes the conference kit that will be given to all delegates. 2) Can an attendee bring staff? Each person who attends is required to pay the registration fee, except for complimentary registrations that come with particular memberships or sponsorships. 3) On the website are other locations for events, as Hacienda de los Morales and Campo Marte; is this an additional cost? The Monday evening reception and the Wednesday evening reception will be held outside of the hotel…the locations are posted for information. There is no additional charge, as they are included in the full registration fee. 4) Can an attendee of the Companion Programme attend conference sessions? No, only delegates registered for the conference may attend conference sessions; however, companions can still come along to evening receptions.
Fraser Bryans	17:03, 19 Sep 12 If you require a visa for entry into Mexico, please send a scanned copy of your passport immediately to the attention of: Gabriela Centeozihuatl Perez Garcia gabriela.perez@ssp.gob.mx To expedite the processing of your visa application, the SSP will have your name added to a list of conference delegates at their local Embassy and will send you a letter of invitation to confirm this has been done. This letter can be taken to your nearest Mexican Consulate office as documentation to help you obtain your visa. Should you encounter difficulties, please contact Gabriela Perez for further advice on how to proceed.
